lehecka family // discovery park family photography

I’ve been photographing the Lehecka family for several years and they are always such a fun family with their twins! This year we had to postpone our shoot for various reasons and then the morning of our new shoot date it was sooooooo foggy. They wanted more of the Discovery Park view with the water but I think the fog ended up giving the photos a nice mood. Their family photos turned out so fun! Love all of their smiling faces!

Coulda Woulda Shoulda!

These are photos submitted by readers of the Seattle Times and I think they pick a photo of the week each week and this is one of the top 10 for the year. 

I thought to myself.....hmmm that looks very familiar.  That's because I was over on Alki the same day and captured this shot below.  It's fun to know that a photo just like mine was selected in the top 10.  Maybe next time I'll think to submit mine.

I'm sure I probably walked right by the person that took the above shot that day.  I remember that day like it was yesterday and boy was that crazy just to get down to Alki to get the shot.  I wrote a blog post about that day.  Check it out here: /2009/09/hurry-or-youll-miss-it.html
