This last weekend I had the opportunity to get out for a photoshoot in downtown Seattle with Alicia and Craig Downey. Alicia and Craig got married on December 21, 2009 in Palm Springs, CA but wanted to get some photos here in Seattle. I was thrilled at this opportunity and so we decided to meet up at Kerry Park. After Kerry Park we made our way down to the Olympic Sculpture Park and finally the Seattle waterfront. Both Alicia and Craig made this shoot so much fun and I'm very happy with how the pictures turned out. If you didn't get a chance to see their engagement photographs check them out at one of my previous posts here: Alicia & Craig Engagement Photos
Thanks again Alicia and Craig for a fun afternoon and congratulations on your marriage!
Post No Bills
Up until about 3 days ago I wasn't feeling much inspiration to get out and take photos. I think it has been the doom and gloom winter here in Seattle. So what changed my mood so quickly......a new camera and lens!! I had been eyeing a few different camera bodies but finally decided to get a Canon 7D. Also, it's been unseasonably warm here in Seattle the last couple days so I've been venturing out into downtown looking for some fun and unique photos with my new camera during my lunch hour. I'm trying to be very intentional with my photos and the composition and not just take a whole bunch of them with random stuff and only get a couple good ones. Hope you like this one below! It's right by Pike Place Market near the gum wall.
