Occasionally I have to go out of town for work and most of the time I'm not too happy about it. Every year for the last four years I've had to travel down to Irvine, CA for a client of mine. This is the first year I had an opportunity to get out and take some photos. I went out with my coworker Jason Chinn to Newport Beach one night and Huntington Beach the next. The night out at Newport was great and it was a very clear night. The fog didn't roll in and you could see the pier very clearly. Lately I've really been trying to watch for reflections either in bodies of water, puddles or other reflective metal. I saw the way the sand was rippling from the water and the waves that were coming back and forth. The ripples in the sand were so amazing and I knew right away the shot that I wanted. I showed this photo to several people and they all commented that the waves were great but I had to correct them and tell them they were actually seeing the sand. I hope you enjoy the photo! thanks for reading and stopping by!
