I met Garett back in about 2005 in a bible study that I friend and I were leading.  It's been fun to see Garett grow up into a successful young man.  When I heard that he was engaged to his girlfriend Kelly I was super excited for him!  I was even more excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding.  
Working with friends doesn't seem like work and this engagement session was more about having fun and just hanging out taking some pictures.  We walked all over the Olympic Sculpture Park on a beautiful Seattle day for their engagement photos.  I'm really excited to celebrate with them in a little over a month!

dani + jason // point defiance engagement photography

"We want to take engagement photos deep in the woods" is what Dani told me.....sounds good to me!  Dani, Jason and I explored through the Point Defiance Park for their engagement photos and were definitely deep in the woods.  We did however manage to sneak out for some shots along the water.  
Jason is an MMA fighter and when I asked them if they'd climb up on a 6' high stump for a few photos they quickly agreed.  Jason climbed up first and then with one hand pulled up Dani onto the stump like she weighed nothing......don't mess with this guy!
