At Magnuson Park in Seattle in the fall, I had the pleasure of capturing timeless moments for the Skelton family of three. Amidst the golden hues of autumn, the parents lovingly cradled their little one, their smiles radiating warmth and joy. Together, we explored the park with lots of laughter and smiles. Although the weather in the fall can be cold it can lead to some amazing photos with the fall background. I highly recommend Magnuson Park in the fall for family photos!

I have had the opportunity to be a team photographer for the Seattle Sounders since 2016. I’ve photographed over 100 MLS matches and covered 3 MLS Cups. Sports photography to me is way more than the action photos that many sports photographers focus too much on. Natalie and Paul's wedding out at the Arctic Club in Seattle was so much fun! Love photography in that space and the downtown area! They were such a fun couple to work with and I would love to take photos again in the Arctic Club! Their wedding was on New Year’s Eve and it was such a fun way to celebrate them!

Absolutely love going to the Olympic Sculpture Park for senior photos in the Seattle area! The park has so many different locations and backgrounds for photos. Reagan and I wandered around the park looking for the best light. He was a great subject and was so easy to work with! I had a fun opportunity to work with Caitlyn and Kyle for their wedding photography at the Edgewater House. Loved this venue being on the water! There were so many great places to take wedding photos! Caitlyn had a wedding dress and another dress that she got into for their reception so that led to two different looks for their photos. They were such a fun to couple to photograph!

Claire and David’s wedding at the Golf Club at Newcastle was amazing! We had done their engagement photos at Discovery Park in Seattle so it was fun to finally see them in their wedding attire. We had so much fun and the day went so smoothly!

Peyton was so much fun to work with for her senior photos that we took at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. Luther Burbank was a great location and I always love going there. So often during the spring families will inquire with me and ask to do their family photos at the University of Washington in Seattle. The cherry blossoms at the UW are amazing but the campus gets so busy with people. For many families I recommend going to Seward Park in South Seattle for family photography as the flowers are so beautiful and make for a wonderful background……plus it’s way less crowded.

Love spending time with the Manjunath family for their family photos. They have the cutest little boy who is always so smiley and happy. We walked around South Lake Union in Seattle near the MOHAI and captured a lot of fun moments.

Theresa and Alex had an amazing day getting married! I felt so lucky to photograph their day! We started out at the Thomson Hotel and then took more photos down at Pioneer Square. We headed back to their ceremony location at Pier 66 along the waterfront in Seattle.

I had to reschedule my photoshoot with the Lehecka family several times for weather before this day.....sometimes that happens in Seattle and we almost rescheduled again because of how thick the fog was. We decided to go for it and I'm glad we did! Their family photos at Discovery Park in Seattle were magical! The fog added such a fun element to the shoot.

Had such an amazing time with Cassie and Alex for their wedding at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine Washington. The weather was perfect and an amazing sunset that did not disappoint. Normally doing wedding photography around Seattle I was excited to get outside the city for some fun close to the border!

I had the opportunity to travel to Rwanda to help document the work that ERM Rwanda was doing. They are doing a lot of work to help support the widows and orphans of the genocide that happened in the 1990s.

Had another opportunity to do family photos with the Downey family! We spent the afternoon down at Lincoln Park with their beautiful twin girls along the waterfront. It's been so much fun being their family photographer so I can see their girls grow up!

When Amy and Jonathan asked me if we could do their engagement photos out at Deception Pass I jumped at the opportunity! I had never been out there so wasn’t sure what to expect but the views out there were amazing! I think we found some fun spots for photos!

Hung out with the Nieves family for their family photos.  Loved spending time with them at their house and then exploring the Seattle Center area!

A month ago if you would have asked me where Liberia was on a map I wouldn't have been able to tell you.  And I definitely wouldn't have been able to share anything about the country or what they've gone through in the last couple decades.  In December I was asked by Locke Morgan of Restoration Ministries Worldwide and The Liberia Project to join a group on a trip to Liberia to help tell a story of the trip and the people of Liberia through my photos.  I was excited and nervous all at the same time.  The excitement to combine my love of photography with my love of the people of Africa was too great.  After a lot of help from friends and family I had my visa and ticket to Liberia.  I spent 3 weeks in Liberia meeting many amazing people and hearing many heart breaking stories of the civil war that occurred not too long ago.  However, in all of those tough stories there was good that came out of each.  Liberia is a country that is continuing to rebuild not only their roads and buildings after a horrific war but also their relationships.  I'm hopeful for Liberia's future and I pray that my photos used by RMW and the Liberia Project can help their people!
